Crossed roller bearings

Characteristics of crossed roller bearings: Crossed roller bearings are cylindrical rollers or tapered rollers on a 90-degree V-shaped groove rolling surface through isolation blocks that are arranged perpendicular to each other, so crossed roller bearings can withstand multi-directional loads such as radial load, axial load and torque load. The size of the inner and outer rings is miniaturized, and the ultra-thin form is close to the limit of small size, and has high rigidity, and the accuracy can reach P5, P4, and P2 levels. Therefore, it is suitable for joint and rotating parts of industrial robots, rotary tables in machining centers, precision rotary tables, medical machines, calculators, military industry, IC manufacturing equipment, and other equipment.

Crossed Roller Bearing Types:

1. Cross roller bearing RB type (outer ring split type, inner ring rotation type)

This series of models is the basic type of crossed cylindrical roller bearing, the inner and outer ring sizes are minimized, and the structure is that the outer ring is a split type, and the inner ring is an integrated design, which is suitable for parts that require high rotation accuracy of the inner ring.

2. RE type (inner ring split type, outer ring rotation)

This series of models is a new type created by the design concept of the RB type, and the main size is the same as the RB type. Its structure is that the inner ring is divided and the outer ring is an integrated design, which is suitable for parts that require high rotation accuracy of the outer ring.

3. RU type (inner and outer ring integrated type)

Since the mounting holes have been machined for this series of models, there is no need to fix the flange or support base. In addition, due to the integrated inner and outer ring structure with a seat, the installation has almost no impact on performance, so stable rotational accuracy and torque can be obtained. It can be used for both outer and inner ring rotation.

4. CRB type (for outer ring splitting type and inner ring rotation)

Its structure is that the outer ring is divided type, and the inner ring is a one-piece design, without cage full loaded roller bearings. It is suitable for parts that require high rotation accuracy of the inner ring.

CRBC type (outer ring split type, inner ring rotation)

The structure is that the outer ring is split type, and the inner ring is a one-piece design, with a cage full of roller bearings. It is suitable for parts that require high rotation accuracy of the inner ring.

CRBH type (integrated inner and outer ring type)

The inner and outer rings of this series of models are integral structures for the rotation of the outer and inner rings.

5. RA type (outer ring split type, inner ring rotation type)

This series of models is a compact model that reduces the thickness of the inner and outer rings of the RB type to the limit. It is suitable for applications that require a lightweight, compact design, such as industrial robots and manipulator rotations.

RA-C type (single crack type)

The main dimensions are the same as the RA type. Since this model has a notched structure for the outer ring, the outer ring also has high rigidity, so it can also be used for outer ring rotation.

7. XR/JXR type (crossed tapered roller bearing)

This type of bearing has two sets of raceways and rollers, which are combined at right angles to each other, and the rollers are staggered against each other. The cross-sectional height of the bearing is similar to that of a single row bearing, so it saves space and housing material, and the large taper angle and tapered geometry design make the overall effective span of the bearing several times the width of the bearing itself. Crossed tapered rollers can withstand high overturning torques and are suitable for machine tools, including vertical boring and grinding machine tables, machine tool precision circular indexing tables, large hobbing machines, turrets, industrial robots, etc.
