Different types of bearing seals and their functions

 

In order to protect the effect of dustproof, it is common to see different bearing seals used on different bearings, so that the components can make the bearings get a good sealing effect, and indirectly protect the use effect and service life of the bearings.

 

Different types of bearing seals and their functions:

 

1. The V-ring is an axially acting elastic rubber sealing ring, which is used as a pressure-free seal for the rotating shaft. The sealing lip has good mobility and adaptability, can compensate for large tolerances and angular deviations, can prevent internal grease or oil leakage, and can also prevent the intrusion of splash water or dust from the outside.

 

2. The O-ring is mainly used for static sealing and reciprocating motion sealing. When used for rotary motion sealing, it is limited to low-speed rotary sealing devices.

 

3. The V-shaped sealing ring is generally installed in the groove with a rectangular cross-section on the outer circle or inner circle to play a sealing role.

 

4. Y-shaped sealing ring is widely used in reciprocating sealing devices. In addition, there is a spring tension (spring energy storage) sealing ring, which is a spring added to the PTFE sealing material, including O-spring, V-spring, and U-spring.

 

5. YX-type sealing ring for holesProduct use: used for sealing the piston in the reciprocating hydraulic cylinder.

 

6. The use of retaining rings for YX holes: This standard is suitable for the use of YX-type sealing rings when the working pressure of the cylinder is greater than 16MPa, or when the cylinder is eccentricly stressed, it plays the role of protecting the sealing ring.

 

7. YX-type sealing ring for shaft product use: used for sealing the piston rod in the reciprocating hydraulic cylinder.

 

8. Use of YX-type retaining ring for shaft: This standard is applicable to the use of YX-type sealing ring when the working pressure of the cylinder is greater than 16MPa, or when the cylinder is eccentricly stressed, it plays the role of protecting the sealing ring.

 

9. The use of O-type rubber sealing ring products: The O-type rubber sealing ring in this standard is suitable for hydraulic and pneumatic systems and various mechanical equipment and components, and plays a sealing role in static or moving states in the specified pressure, temperature and different liquid and gas media.

 

10. Retaining ring for O-ring sealing ring product use: This standard is applicable to the use of O-ring when the cylinder pressure is greater than 10MPa.

 

11.J-type skeletonless dust ring product use: used for reciprocating cylinders, piston rods or valve stems in the exposed places of the cylinder to prevent dust.
