Features of Reinforced Sealing Triangular Mounted Spherical Roller Bearing
The reinforced sealing triangular mounted spherical roller bearing consists of a bearing housing, an outer spherical roller bearing, a cast dust cover, and an oil seal.
Features of the reinforced sealing triangular mounted spherical roller bearing:
1. Adoption of a triangular mounted spherical roller bearing structure
To meet the structural requirements of agricultural machinery, a mounted spherical roller bearing type is designed. It consists of an outer spherical roller bearing and a bearing housing. The outer ring of this type of bearing has a spherical outer diameter, which matches the concave spherical inner hole of the bearing housing, providing self-aligning functionality. It is suitable for through shafts with poor rigidity and large deflection. The bearing housing is designed as a triangular cast bearing housing. The bearing selected is the AEL series spherical roller bearing with an eccentric sleeve, which features self-aligning, easy installation, and a perfect sealing structure. The main feature of this type of bearing is that one end of the bearing has a certain degree of eccentricity, and it is matched with an eccentric sleeve of the same degree.
Compared to the UC series spherical roller bearing with set screws, this type of bearing has a very strong locking torque, making it particularly suitable for agricultural machinery with long shafts, large deflection, and violent runout. This bearing features a sealing ring, providing excellent sealing performance. High-quality grease is pre-filled at the factory, offering good lubrication and rust prevention. Additional grease can be added during use through the grease filler hole, effectively extending the bearing's service life.
2. Cast Dust Covers and Oil Seals Designed
Due to the harsh operating conditions of agricultural machinery, bearings require high sealing performance to ensure operation. Therefore, cast dust covers are designed on both sides of the triangular bearing housing. These dust covers are high-strength and can withstand the impact of large, hard clods of soil and gravel. The small gap between the shaft and the inner diameter of the dust cover effectively prevents large clods of soil and gravel from entering the bearing.
The dust cover is internally designed with a sealing skeleton-type oil seal to enhance the seal. Because the inner diameter of the oil seal is smaller than the shaft journal, with a certain interference fit, after the oil seal is installed on the shaft, the pressure of its cutting edge and the contraction force of the self-tightening spring generate a certain radial clamping force on the sealing shaft, blocking the leakage gap and preventing the entry of dirt, sand, and water from the outside of the bearing. This oil seal features a small installation space, small axial dimension, compact structure, good sealing performance, and long service life.
