Structural characteristics and series of crossed roller bearings

Crossed roller bearings are a special type of bearing with an inner ring split and an outer ring rotation. Since the split inner or outer rings are attached to the crossed roller collar after the roller and spacer keeper are attached to prevent separation from each other, the operation is simple when installing the crossed roller collar.

Structural features: crossed roller bearings are cylindrical rollers arranged perpendicular to each other through isolation blocks on the V-shaped groove rolling surface of 900, so crossed roller bearings can bear multi-directional loads such as radial load, axial load and moment load. The size of the inner and outer rings has been miniaturized, and the ultra-thin form is close to the limit of the compact size, and it has high rigidity and accuracy of P4 and P2 grades. Therefore, it is suitable for the joints and rotating parts of industrial robots, rotary tables of machining centers, rotating parts of manipulators, precision rotary tables, medical equipment, calculators, IC manufacturing equipment, and other equipment.

We mainly introduce the RA/RB/RE/RU/CRB/CRBH series of crossed roller bearings.

RB type (outer ring split type, inner ring rotation type)

This series is the basic type of crossed cylindrical roller bearings, and the size of the inner and outer rings has been minimized, and the structure is that the outer ring is a split type and the inner ring is a one-piece design, which is suitable for parts that require high rotation accuracy of the inner ring.

RU type, SRU type (integrated inner and outer ring type)

Since the mounting holes are machined, there is no need for fixing flanges and supports. In addition, the integrated inner and outer ring structure with a seat has almost no effect on performance, and stable rotational accuracy and torque can be obtained. It can be used for the rotation of the outer and inner rings.

RE type (inner ring split type, outer ring rotation type)

This series of models is a new type of model derived from the design concept of the RB type, and the main dimensions are the same as the RB type. The structure is that the inner ring is split and the outer ring is a one-piece design, which is suitable for parts that require high rotation accuracy of the outer ring.

RA type (for outer ring splitting, inner ring rotation)

This series of models is a compact type that reduces the thickness of the inner and outer rings of the RB type to the limit. It is suitable for areas that require a lightweight, compact design, such as rotating parts of robots and robots.

SX type (outer ring split type, inner ring rotation type)

The structure is similar to that of the RB series, the outer ring is divided into two parts, connected by three fixed rings, and the inner ring is designed as a single unit, which is suitable for parts that require high rotation accuracy of the inner ring.

CRBH type (integrated inner and outer rings)

The inner and outer rings of this series of models are one-piece structure, which is used for the rotation of the outer ring and the inner ring.

Thrust cylindrical roller bearings

Thrust cylindrical roller bearings are divided into single-row cylindrical roller bearings and double-row cylindrical roller bearings according to the number of bearing roller rows. The axial direction can withstand heavy loads and vibration loads.

Single-row thrust cylindrical roller bearings can withstand axial loads in one direction and limit axial displacement in one direction. Double row thrust cylindrical roller bearings can withstand axial loads in both directions and limit axial displacement in both directions.

Precision bearings for crossed tapered rollers

This type of bearing has two sets of raceways and rollers, which are combined at right angles to each other, and the rollers are staggered opposite each other. The cross-sectional height of the bearing is similar to that of a single row bearing, thus saving space and housing material, and the large taper angle and tapered geometry design result in the overall effective span of the bearing being several times the width of the bearing itself.

Crossed tapered rollers can withstand high overturning moments and are suitable for machine tools, including vertical boring machines and grinding machine tables, precision circular indexing tables for machine tools, large gear hobbing machines, turrets, industrial robots, etc.
