    Alignment needle roller bearings are self-aligning and offer a compact solution in applications where less space is available. Their internal design, where a convex outer ring meets two concave seating rings encased in a drawn sleeve, enables the bearings to accommodate initial static misalignment.Aligning needle roller bearings without inner ring are available in type RPNA .Bearings without an inner ring are highly suitable for bearing arrangements with low section height and particularly compact radial dimensions, if the shaft raceway can be hardened and ground . If no inner ring is used, the shaft can be designed to a greater thickness and thus with increased rigidity.
