What is the Slewing bearings

 

Slewing bearing, also known as turntable bearing, is a kind of bearing that can bear axial force, radial force and overturning moment at the same time, and has the characteristics of compact structure, convenient guidance and easy maintenance of the main engine. It has been widely used in construction machinery, mining machinery, port machinery, construction machinery, marine equipment, medical machinery, environmental protection equipment, mobile robots, forklift steering systems, intelligent logistics systems and other fields.

 

Basic structure

According to the different internal structure forms, it can be divided into single-row four-point contact ball type, single-row cross roller type, double-row ball type, double-row reducer ball type, ball-column combination type, and three-row roller type.

 

Installation

There are three common installation methods of slewing bearing, including seat installation, suspension installation and vertical installation, among which the inner and outer rings of vertically installed slewing rings must have positioning stops to ensure the accurate positioning of slewing bearings.

 

Materials used

The commonly used materials are high-alloy structural steel (such as 50Mn, 42CrMo), bearing steel and other special-purpose materials, which can fully guarantee the mechanical properties of the material after normalizing or quenching and tempering after forging and forming. New lightweight alloy materials can be used according to user needs.

 

Adapt to temperature and working environment

Generally, the slewing bearing can work normally at -30°C~ 70°C, and the higher or lower ambient temperature can be customized according to user needs.

 

Rated service life

The service life of the slewing bearing is related to the use of the environment, load, speed, lubrication, the accuracy of the seat frame, and the quality of maintenance. In conventional use, the rated service life is between 60,000 hours and 100,000 hours.
